Here's what ambassadors have to say about this training!
“
I like to be an ambassador for the international NICE project, because synergies between solidarity and sustainability goals are important to me.
In times of climate change and the need for intelligent consumption, there is an urgent need for people who are open to change and pass on their knowledge in a goal-oriented way. Challenging and promoting in the sense of an inclusive circular economy is my motto!

I'm a teacher, so the first thing I did was to use the products of the project in my classes.
The children loved them. They even wanted to be the new ambassadors themselves. One of them felt so inspired that she went back home and told her parents that she wanted to stop wasting so much food. Besides seeing the change in them, I saw the change in me. I started recycling more. I stopped the usage of plastic bags. I stopped driving to work, I started walking. So, the change was obvious, not only in the community around me, but in me, personally.

Participating in the NICE project has been a life-changing experience.
Not only I gained valuable knowledge about the circular economy and inclusion, but I also learned how to inspire others in my community to adopt sustainable practices. This project has given me the confidence and tools to create real change, and I’m excited to continue spreading its message.

It was was very useful to learn about simple examples close to us of realities that are trying to take action in their communities to promote circular economy and social inclusion.
Particularly interesting were the stories of projects promoted by Caritas Ambrosiana, such as Gatti Spiazzati and Taivé, and the meeting with the volunteers of the association “ReCup”. It was interesting to see how all the projects proposed during the course consider the fragility of the people they meet as a value, not as something to exclude...With the NICE project, I have learnt that if I want to hope for change, then the change must also start with me: I myself can be an ambassador in my own small way, with my family, with my friends, with my colleagues and share with them good practices of circular economy and social inclusion. In addition, thanks to the notions learnt and the exercises done during the course, in my city, we are wondering about the possibility of creating an object library: a place to make various types of objects available to all those who need them. This can be useful to fight consumerism, but also to allow everyone to have access to certain objects, even those who would not have the resources to buy them.
