IMPROVING KNOWLEDGE

Improving the knowledge of adult education professionals to innovate social circular economy businesses and projects.

TRAINING
ADULTS

FOSTERING CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Contributing to make the social circular economy businesses and projects more and more inclusive, attractive and inspiring places for the whole community dedicated to lifelong learning, sustainability and solidarity.

BRIDGING
THE GAP

Bridging the gap between community members of different socioeconomic backgrounds on the vision and role of circular economy and inclusion.

DEVELOPING A ROLE MODEL

Developing a role model adaptable to other contexts for NGOs and adult education organizations as modern and attractive community places promoting awareness and knowledge about sustainability and inclusion, overcoming their image of "place for the disadvantaged"

Activities

What we will develop

Training for professionals:

A training curriculum for adult education professionals working in social economy and circular economy projects for the development of their businesses, covering aspects like marketing, sales and public relation competences, strategies and arguments to start and maintain cooperation with other branches and stakeholders in the community, strategies to gain product design and store design competencies and creating awareness-raising material.

Training for circular economy ambassadors:

A training curriculum for adult education learners with or without fewer opportunities, regardless their socio-economic backgrounds covering information on production cycles, waste, consumption, recycling as well as on concepts of inclusion, personal consumption and status as well as on personal attitude towards inclusion, tools and techniques to create awareness and skills of self-representation.

Both training programs will be tested transnationally with pilot activities, to verify their validity and consolidate their impact.

PILOT TRAINING
FOR PROFESSIONALS

Piloting the training curriculum with professionals at local level.

PILOT TRAINING
FOR AMBASSADORS

A training course for adult learners carried out by each partner at local level.

TRANSNATIONAL TRAINING

Two transnational training activities bringing together some of the participants of the two piloting activities, both online and during two 3-days sessions in person.

Partners will set up local consulting committee involving stakeholders in each country to support project activities, contribute to the quality and transferability of the results and increase the dissemination of the outcomes: other NGOs, public authorities, waste management companies, experts on circular economy and inclusion, universities etc.
